You're not only thinking snow, you're wearing it when you pull on the Icebreaker Women's BodyFit 200 Oasis V-Neck Long-Sleeve Top. But not to worry―although it features a design inspired by the structure of the snowflakes that fall on New Zealand's Southern Alps, this top's pure merino wool will keep you toasty as you play on the mountain. This top's soft, 200-gram wool retains body heat, breathes, and doesn't hold odors; underarm gussets ensure great mobility, and flatlock seams eliminate chafing.
I guess the perception of sizing is different for different people, but I wouldn't say this top runs small. I have narrow shoulders and a slender build at 5'6'' 125 lbs, and I usually buy small or x-small tops. Usually x-small is totally form-fitting for me, whereas small gives a little bit of room around my ribs and stomach. I bought this top in a small, and I think it's true to size. I can wear a layer under it. I would probably reorder for an x-small if it were primarily for fashion rather than function. Granted, I like my tops close-fitting, but this one still has some wiggle room for me, particularly in the arms and at the bust.
I jumped straight to commenting about sizing because really, you should just buy this top. It's thin and light but is an amazing body temp regulator. I wore it hiking with a camisole underneath and the temperature swung from 50F (and windy) to 70F (and sunny). I was chilly on the low end until I layered up and a bit too warm on the high end, but I never experienced the oh-my-god-I'm-freezing or the oh-my-god-I-have-to-take-this-layer-off-now moment. It keeps me just below the overheating point where I have to take a layer off, which is important when temperature flux is likely.
I fell in a blackberry bramble wearing this top (now I really sound like a knowledgeable and skilled outdoorswoman, right?), and expected to find some serious damage from all the snagging, but the top made it out in better shape than I did. It looks brand new.
By the way, I also bought the BodyFit+ 200 Scroll Print V-Neck Top version of this, and I'm not in love with it. I assumed it would be just the same as this top aside from decoration, but it doesn't look as nice. Could be the fact that it's mostly solid colored rather than patterned, and ivory rather than darkish blue tones, but it seems to fit differently. And the ivory color is sheer. I mean see-through. I mean you can see every freckle underneath. Just a warning. Buy this one instead!
Just bought this top and I love it! I read other reviews to size up so I bought a small and it was big. So I got an xs and it fit perfectly. Love the pattern and the fit. It's a must purchase.

You usually can't go wrong with Icebreaker stuff, although the sizes seem to vary a bit. My wife looks great in this, nice color and contrast. She's 5'2" and a 34b, slightly broad shouldered. The medium fit her great, the sleeves are not too long.
This is my first print top that I have purchased from icebreaker and I was a bit hesitant to buy it at first. This fall and winter I find myself immediately putting in on when I get home from work and often wearing it all day on my days off. The print is fun and funky, more exciting that some of the traditional solid color icebreaker long sleeve tops. The v-neck is nice, not too low. The blue color is gorgeous. Definitely size up in this one as it does run quite small, I ended up buying a medium so I could put a cami under it. I am 5'2" and 100lbs and usually between an xs or s in icebreaker tops.
I love this top. Super flattering fit and pattern. Very comfy. I even sleep in it. I have multiple other Icebreaker tops and this one is the cutest. It falls well. The pattern is cool and I get lots of compliments on it. It looks pretty dressy, so I can easily wear it out even though I can also use it as a base layer. I have the darker one - the blue and purple one. The neckline is nice re where it falls. The fit seems true to size, to a little on the smaller side. I am 5'3", 114#, 33" bust, 27" natural waist and I got a small, which fits well but close. If I had wanted a loose-ish fit, I would have needed a medium. In other tops I generally wear a small to an xs. I wash all these wool products in Woolite and hang them dry.
This is my 3rd Icebreaker top and once again, I am not disappointed. The fabric is soft, the weight is perfect for everyday wear in spring or fall, and the fit is very flattering. I love the V-neck. My other icebreaker shirts are regular crew neck, and can sometimes feel tight especially when layering, but the V-neck gives me plenty of room. If you want to compare, read other reviews on merino tops. Other products are always compared to Icebreaker. It's because they are the best!
Just received it this morning, tried it on and can't get it off. Feels very soft and keeps me warm all day. I'm 5'8 and 145lbs and got M and it fits very good - don't know why other reviewers recomend to size up, I wouldn't do that for sure... I have long arms and this shirt sleeves go to the palm base, and will be longer on someone with regular arm length. Now I'm thinking about getting the pants as well :)
I received this shirt as a gift and I absolutely LOVE it ! I didn't want to take it off... It kept me warm on a cool day and the material is so soft on the skin. There is nothing that can compare to pure merino wool for cold and hot days to keep your body temperature right where you want it. I'm 5'4" at 145 lbs and I got a Medium and it fits great, the shirt falls at my hips and the sleeves go to mid palm. I would tell anyone who wants a great product to buy icebreakers !!
this shirt looks and fits great. i love the funky pattern. it adds a bit of jazz to my ski ensemble. i'm 5'1 and purchased the S. it is fitted without being too snug. i can throw a thin tank top on underneath for extra layering/warmth. i anticipate using this top year round.
I guess the perception of sizing is different for different people, but I wouldn't say this top runs small. I have narrow shoulders and a slender build more...
Just bought this top and I love it! I read other reviews to size up so I bought a small and it was big. So I got an xs and it fit perfectly. Love the more...
