Here's what others have to say...

Fantastic Shirt

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs small

This shirt is so flattering that you hate to cover it up as a baselayer, though obviously that's the best use for it. I find it perfectly comfortable as far as modern wool goes, and mine has been in the drier a few times by accident. It gives it a little bit of fuzzier look, so I wouldn't recommend it, but it still is a great shirt.

smidge itchy

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is the heaviest weight merino of their line that I own...and for individuals with super sensitive skin they might find this just a smidge itchy. The other, lighter weight items are very very soft. I'm thinking that after a wash or two it'll get there (fingers crossed.) Very very toasty warm though and worth skipping the bulky wool sweaters.

Baaaaaaaaaaa !!!

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift, but have feedback to share

I bought this for my Aunt for her birthday because she had never tried Merino.
She absolutely loves it.

Every time I see her she's wearing this thing, and she just RAVES about it. She's coming back for more. She tells me she hand washes it 2-3 times a week because she would rather wear this piece than anything else!

I would say this was a pretty successful present indeed. It's the small things in life that bring you joy...

Sleek, stylish, quick-drying

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I wanted to try Icebreaker out - this was my gateway item. Extremely pleased with it so far: have had it about a month, and have worn it skiing; while out at night with friends; and just running around outside in the cold. The colorway is unusual yet versatile, and the fabric is easy-care (I hand-wash and hang dry, it often dries in a couple of hours). I've since gone and purchased 3 more Icebreaker shirts. Relative to other brands, I'd say the material is thinner and has slightly more texture than my Smartwool midweight tops, but holds its shape better than the SW. Would recommend to anyone looking for comfortable, well-fitting winter wear!
