really pretty, but some sleeve-oddity

  • Gender: Female
  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it

The good: The fabric is an awesome weight for anytime you'd wear a light sweater or sweatshirt. The stripes down the sleeve are very cute, but make it sporty so only good for work if you're allowed to wear casual.

The meh: The extra fabric for the stripes make this shirt feels surprisingly heavy for its overall fabric thickness. So, I wouldn't pick this one for traveling.

The disappointing:
I'm 5'7" with broad shoulders, long arms. The Icebreaker BodyFit 150 and Smartwool lightweight shirts have nice long sleeves... but the sleeves on this model only come to my wrist, making them 2-3 inches too short to use the thumb-holes. And oddly, the thumb-hole is perfectly centered on the inside of my wrist (directly below my middle finger)... so uh... anyone got a thumb there? That said, the shirt is really stretchy, and I could use the thumb-hole, but that caused the sleeves to be pulled taut, and the stripes to twist.

Verdict: It's not for me, but if you either don't mind a decorative thumb-hole hidden on your wrist, or you are shorter than average, this could be a winner for you.

Depends on how you want it to fit- you could go either way. Size down for a tighter baselayer fit or up for a more casual look.
