Icebreaker added a hint of nylon and Lycra to the Lite Micro Socks to provide stretch, help them retain their shape, and make them easy to care for (these wool socks can go in the dryer). I love these socks! They fit & cradle your foot around the arch, most comfortable running sock I've ever had. Wore them hiking in summer in both hot desert conditions & mountains... the wool absorbs moisture, doesn't smell at all!! and your feet feel dry all the time. Like I said, I love these socks!
