Now you can soothe the savage beast with Icebreaker’s Beast Boxer Brief with fly. The pure merino fabric is soft and warm against your skin and the Beast Boxer features a sexy contoured pouch that stays put in your slim-fit pants and jeans. The fabric of the Beast Boxer Brief will not retain moisture or odor, so your beast and your lady couldn’t be happier.
Bottom Line: You control your beast, or your beast will control you.
Nice soft wool, fit more snugly than last year's and thinner than last year's.
Very short legs, especially vs. prior year's and especially after washing (even if you line dry). Feels more like a speedo/squarecut than fitted boxers.
Bone color is between opaque and transparent. You can see skin color through it.
though the lines have changed slightly for a waistband that seems to have been inspired by a roaring 20s bathing suit or a barber shop pole. though far more troublesome to this economic nationalist (lower case e-n), the "made in" tag says China. had I been clued in about the latter I would've moved on.

This is the best boxer short I have ever warn. People around have been swearing by merino wool so I had to give it a try. It was the first time in years that I could go a whole day without feeling clammy. It was amazing and I am no going to be buying more. I am 6'3" 210lbs with a 34" waist and went with the Large.
Got these for my fiance when I was in NZ and it was great. They are not baggy like those of boxers and not tight like briefs. He really loves them esp. for backcountry because they dry so darn fast. It is super easy for me to wash at home...
These boxers are super comfortable and the perfect thickness for hiking in cool to warm weather or just wearing to work. I have a size 34 waist, have an athletic build and bought a size large. They fit pretty snug but if I were any bigger I'd have to size up for sure.
The fit is more snug & shorter in the leg than the previous version that I have several of, think the new James Bond's swimming trunks. They fixed the waistband issue, too (it would fold over on itself).
There's nothing that beats the comfort of wool underwear, period. I have a bunch of these now, and they are my preferred underwear, summer & winter.
These are very much a boxer BRIEF. The legs are short and I would qualify them more as a trunk style of underwear. However, they do fit quite well although I would seriously consider going up one size if I order another pair because the legs are a little snug and although there is room in front, there isn't much room in the "seat" of these things.
Not five stars at full price. Comfort is decent, inseam is short, and butt is a little tight--and I have no butt to begin with. I got my first pair for $17 at Sierra Trading Post. Nice, but since I have no reason to wear my underwear for a week straight, and these are no more comfortable than my high grade jockeys, I have a pair "just in case." They are a little tight, and once my wife accidentally washes them, they'll be even tighter. Indeed, more like briefs. Nevertheless, perhaps they will provide some warmth for running, but I'm not sure about durability for this purpose.
These are more form fitting and offer better support than previous years BodyFit boxer briefs. Though overall I am impress, these do have very short legs and it kinda bugs me...It's just that everything I wear is longer, so when I strap these on they feel uncomfortable.
