    Double up.

When the temperatures plummet, protect your extremities with an extra layer of warmth by layering the Ibex Stretch Merino Glove Liner under your glove. Fine-gauge merino wool offers lighweight, wicking warmth, while a touch of Lycra spandex helps the glove to conform to your hand and ensure a smooth, wrinkle-free fit under your outer glove. Flat seam construction provides a low-profile, chafe-free fit.

    Meh

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Mine unraveled after moderate use. I'd look to another brand for liners. I had some merino wool liners from Patagonia that were fantastic (both durable and warm). Hopefully backcountry brings those back

    Nice for running

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I use these by themselves when running in the cold. They work great to keep the fingers comfortable when it's below 40 degrees outside. I wouldn't call them warm by themselves, but it's just enough to stop me thinking about my digits and concentrate on moving my feet forward.

    OK liners, not durable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I had these barely one full winter and they are already tearing. In my experience with ibex, they make nice looking gear that is not in any way shape or form durable. Its good gear if you want to look outdoorsy, not be outdoorsy.

    Nice lightweight liner

I love this liner, super lightweight and thin great for wearing under my gloves or alone when driving and grabbing the cold steering wheel. These are not touchscreen compatible which can be a drawback for certain buyers, for me it is not an issue. Very nice merino wool, these do a great job regulating your temperature. My hands have never felt overly warm or moist when using these liners.

I would recommend these as a first choice to anyone looking for a very thin lightweight liner. With that being said these are not going to be the most durable longest lasting liners out there but that is because they are super thin and super light weight so keep that in mind when purchasing. You can get a couple seasons out of these easily with proper care.

    BC warranty department is unresponsive.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Bought two pairs, one for me, one for my ladyfriend. The smalls came and had a small hole in the thumb. BC told me to email the warranty department, which I did 3 days ago, with pics, and haven't heard anything back.

    The perfect liner glove

Use them almost every day as a liner for my heavy duty work gloves , nice fit , keeps hands somewhat warm, pricy for a liner glove , but so far guess it may be worth it .

    Super nice

Love these!! These are keeping my hands toasty inside my snow mittens in the recent 0 -20 degree weather. I have worn them inside the mittens while shoveling snow, walking and driving. Without the liners, my fingers get cold. Never thought that glove liners would work in mittens, but the snug covering on each finger traps in the warmth. Love that I can take my bulky mitten off and leave the liner on to grab my keys or items out of my pockets. When I am out driving and after the car warms up, I take the mittens off and leave the liners on. The liners function quite well and do not seem too slippery on the steering wheel.

These liners extend up my wrist 2 3/4"! They stay up underneath my outer layer . Other brands of wool liners were very short on the wrist. I ordered the small: my wrist is 7.5" around at the knuckles and 7" from the bend in the wrist to the tip of the middle finger.

These fit inside my winter bike gloves, so hope to cycle soon to see if I can be comfortable in the 10-20 degree range. Anticipate that they will work well inside my mittens for cross country skiing too.

These work fine for texting on the cell phone. No need for special liners for texting.

I wear many Ibex wool products and they never seem to disappoint on quality, functionality, and well thought out design.

      Warm and thin

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have extra large hands with very long fingers and got 6 different types of gloves. I kept two. I look for seams that don't dig under my nails, and become a second skin to my hands. These fit the bill with the added bonus of being a nice color in blue and having longer wrists so they tuck in nicely to keep from getting cold spots. Easy on, easy off. I got 4 pairs because I always loose one.

      These are great!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I am going to grab a second pair so I can keep them dry all day. They are thin and seem strong. They are perfect for futsing around with bindings or snowshoes or zippers, whatever you get it. They are nice. They have a big fat tag inside which I am leaving on to clip to and let dry. Supple!

      Great all around gloves

I have 2 pairs of these. I bought 1 pair, but the wrist developed a small hole immediately after the first use. So I called Ibex - not only did they offered a replacement pair immediately, but they also let me keep the original pair. Pretty awesome customer service! I'm still using the original pair as the hole didn't get bigger as I thought it would.

I use them for running - I ran 4x a week in winter and they have lasted a couple winters. They are good for down to 30 degrees. I also use them as liners for my ski gloves. They are quite thin so they fit into my ski gloves really well, but it's amazing how much warmer my hands feel. Especially when the ski gloves get a bit clammy inside, the merino still keeps my hands warm. It's one of those things I always take in my running bag and in my ski jacket pocket - they are so low profile that it's a no-brainer to bring the extra insurance - yet the amount of warmth they generate is so amazing!

The fit is generally good, but I think they can use a bit more lycra to keep them a bit more fitting - not that they are totally loose, but they could be a bit more form fitting.

      Good Liner for Ski Gloves

Bought these to get a little more warmth from a pair of new Outdoor Research ski gloves. The fit/finish is excellent. Merino wool blend is incredibly soft and so far hasn't stretched out after about 10 uses (but watch out - it will snag on velcro). These liners are not really warm standalone, but they will keep the chill off your hands when you need to grab your iPhone/trail map/etc.

How do these gloves fit? My girlfriend...

How do these gloves fit? My girlfriend has pretty skinny hands and a different pair of liners I bought her a pretty baggy. The look well trimmed, but anybody with first-hand (ha!) experience care to offer their thoughts? Thanks!
