- Q & A
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Medium
Whether you turn these inside or out, the heavy stiching along fingers will likely prevent your enjoyment of these gloves. Love the wool, hate the heavy edge sewn fingers. I'm going with a knit wool glove instead. Wish I didn't have to pay return postage since unable to wear these gloves for even 1 minute as they are manufactured. Other Ibex products are great but I wouldn't keep these if they were free
Not as warm as I thought
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
These gloves are comfortable, but weren't as warm as I thought. If wearing them alone, and below freezing temperatures, they didn't keep my hands as warm. They were ok with as a liner when skiing, but again, my hands were still a bit cold compared to other liners I have tried. On the plus side, they do seem durable.
Logo of Ibex just on left glove?
Common people, what not enough of thread to embroider logo on RIGHT glove?
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
I have had these for two winters and use them primarily without an outer glove/mitt. They keep my hands warm and fit perfectly, I typically wear a medium glove. I wear them for exercise five day a week and regularly during the day if I don't need something water resistant. They have held up very well and show very little wear.
Great as a liner, poor quality by themselves
I bought these for backcountry skiing as a liner for leather work gloves.
These are warm, wicking, and don't smell bad. However they are falling apart. Within the first week the seams were starting to blow out. Then I noticed that the fabric on my right thumb was disintegrating. They are a great glove if you are going to wear them as a liner and not do anything with them when they aren't covered by another glove. I would not recommend them.
I've been using these liners to supplement my Hestra XCR Gloves for the last few weeks and they help bridge the gap between the days I don't want to wear my mitts but am finding the conditions somewhat too cold for the glove alone. The knit is very fine with a thicker merino which I think should provide a good bit of durability in these liners. They are also warm enough to be worn alone during a high output activity such as running or skinning. I wear a size 9 Hestra and ended up getting a size M in these. Perfect fit.
What is the difference between the Ibex shak glove liner and the Ibex stretch liner?
How can I be notified when the large comes...
How can I be notified when the large comes back in stock?
Backcountry doesn't have any way to automatically notify customers when items they're interested in come back in stock... yet...

In the meantime, since they're a winter item, we'll probably be ordering more in the fall.
