I picked up 2 of these, a shak jersey and a scout 1/2 zip for a summer excursion to Norway which featured a week long backpacking trek in alpine. Sure it was July, but where I was going was sub 30F at night. Coming from the brutal, 90+% humidity/temp of the east, I was GLAD I had picked up these amazing garments. Among the 3 styles, the nomad's were my favorite. Super soft, extremely warm and quite versatile, everything about this...fleece?...sweatshirt?...mid-layer? was well-designed. Equally worthy for bumming around the house in comfort, hitting up a nice restaurant or as an essential layering item for a backcountry adventure, this is probably the favorite piece of clothing I own! I'm 5'11.5, 175lbs and the medium fits great. Someone else my size may want to get the large for a more traditional, "American" fit, ie: bulky and less flattering. Other design aspects I dig: the seams are well constructed, the buttons are relatively easy to snap yet very secure, and the refined look (esp compared to the shak). Oh yea, forgot to mention it took me until a few weeks ago to wash for the FIRST TIME. And even then it was out of guilt having not done so already. Highly recommended.
Great pullover. Super Soft.

I love the Ibex Nomad 1/2 Snap Top. It is so soft, light weight and the fit is perfect. I liked it so much that I bought the Nomad Hoodie, too. I really love Ibex products. I have always liked wool clothing, but Merino wool is to die for .
How does the fit compare to the Shak...
How does the fit compare to the Shak jersey?
The Nomad is a bushed fleece while the Shak is woven. In my opinion the Nomad is a little warmer for its weight.
