Insulative, lightweight and unmatched in regulating core temperature, the Ibex Neve Jacket, made from Climawool softshell, is built for the backcountry. Zippered handwarmer pockets do double duty as frontal core vents. The Neve has 2 internal pockets (one oversized mesh and one secure zippered) and a zippered stow pocket on sleeve. Draw cords at bottom hem and neck seal out the cold. Adjustable, 1/2 elastic Velcro closure sleeve cuffs batten down the hatches there. The full-length water-resistant zipper features an internal wind flap. –Vendor

Neve Jacket - Great Jacket for the price

This is a great jacket for the price. It is waterproof, quiet (because of the softshell), with minimalist and sleek design. I wear it belaying and the pockets are high enough so I can reach things when my harness is on. The back and sides are slightly longer so they will stay under my harness when climbing. I really like the super-stretchy feel of the wool blend and it's very warm for the weight.

Ice Climber's dream jacket

This jacket does it all. Wind resistant yet incredibly breathable. Much better fabric than polar wind stop. Tough as nails it even sheds snow. Bring along a goretex shell for full on blizzard and rain, otherwise this jacket will be all you need. I also own the Icefall jacket. The Neve is a little warmer and tougher for colder conditions.
