I love these pants. They are very well made and stylish. I wear them everywhere- dress them up with a nice sweater, shoes and you can wear them almost anywhere.

I tried these on in a store two hours away from home, then regretted not buying them. When I ordered them from Backcountry, they were several inches longer than those I'd tried, so I had to return them. Great pants, I just wish the length was consistent!
very comfy

I want to buy different color next time. I like high waist which looks great with my cropped leather jacket.OK for casual wear and for exercise both. only one downside is that the XS size is like S.

These are so amazingly warm and comfortable. I carry most of my weight in my thighs and LOVE that these are cut full in the leg for the perfect relaxed fit. I just have a couple of complaints. The waist is really high. The slight dip in the waistband just barely misses my belly button so I roll it over for a lower fit. The other downside is that the crape texture makes these truly look like lounge/active wear. For this price, I'd really prefer something refined enough to wear to work (as well as lounge/active wear).

The Coziest Pant Ever!!

The Izzi Pant is one of my best clothing purchases ever! Not only are they super comfortable, but they are also VERY flattering. I'm 5'6" and the medium fits perfectly! The waistband is nice and wide so it helps minimize any little bit of muffin top we may have left over from our winter lazy days. But, seriously, these are my go to pants for lounging at home, running errands, traveling, practicing Yoga or stretching, or even going for a cool weather run. Welcome to the coziest pants ever made!

What color is bittersweet? I think of bittersweet as orange, but the photo here looks black or grey.

I have always considered "bittersweet" a really dark brown. It looks black in the main picture but if you pull up the detail pic of the logo you can see it better.
Perfect pants

These pants looked good on the tiny screen but when the package came I put them on and kept them on. The wool is a crepe type weave with good heft and drape. They're not heavy. Not at all scratchy and the perfect length. I'm 5'4" so that was an exceptional surprise. The small is like a generous size 8 but they stay up. The legs are wide but not dumpy. For me they were a lucky, happy find. Thanks.

The Izzi pants are definitely a staple piece! I use them for just about everything- climbing, snowboarding, casual wear, yoga, hiking, etc. The sizing is normal, I'm 5'8" and size 12 pants and the Lg works almost perfectly (they are a little bit long but I threw them in the dryer and they came out perfect).
My only warning- don't wash them with fleece- the fleece pills and is almost impossible to get off the wool pants!

hey did they shrink considerably when you put them in the dryer?

I love Ibex clothing and own several pieces and these pants are great....but they were short on me. I always order a small for my 5'7", 130lb frame and usually it fits perfectly. These pants just reached the base of my ankle and I was hoping they would fit like the energy pants I own, which is to the base of my shoes. Sadly, I had to return them as I know a medium would be too big in the waist.

I love these pants. I want a matching Izzie shirt, and maybe a coat for my dog... I put them on every day when I get back from work, when I walk the dog, when I wake up on the weekends, when I come back from skiing. I felt guilty at first for buying such expensive pants, but I just LOVE them. They wash well, too! I'm 5'9", 145lbs and I have a pair of medium pants that fit great... they aren't baggy (so don't expect that!).
Pefect Pants!

I bought two pair of these pants in black and brown last year and intend to buy gray this year. These are the perfect winter pants . They wash beautifully and looks just like new after a full season. My only complaint is that they were a little long for me, so I took them to the tailor and had them shortened.
comfy

These pants are comfy and toasty beyond cotton yoga-style pants. Love them. However, these are expensive for the intended use. Also, the length is exceptionally long. I am 5'7" and they drag. I intend to hem this which is an easy fix. So overall these are wonderful lounging pants, and great to put on after an exhausting day on the trails!

I received these pants as a gift which I was so excited for. I am in love with these pants and I wish I could wear them everyday for everything. I could have used an xs, I am 5' but the s is working fine. The wool is amazing and comforatble. Not itchy or too warm. I was trying to figure out how to xc ski or do yoga in them! I wish I could buy more! Great company and great product!
How long are these pants?Thanks.

Just rcvd these and they are exactly what I've been looking for. The wool fabric is the perfect thickness for winter and they fit exactly. I got XS as am 5'1'' and the length is just right. I went online immediately to buy another pair but my size is sold out. I had already rcvd the Icebreaker GT220 Quantum Pant but they are thinner than what I was expecting. I guess they are more for cold weather running. So will keep both but the Ibex pants are way warmer and the waistband is more comfortable. I love merino wool clothing as it is warm and comfortable and lasts for years so is worth the expense and Ibex makes some good products.

Are the Ibex Izzi pant more form fitting than the Icebreaker Quantum pant? I find the Icebreaker pant to be too loose throughout the entire legs and am looking for a wool pant with a more fitted look.

Not sure if you're still looking, but the Ibex Energy Sport Pants are going to be more fitted through the thigh then the Izzi Pants, but they still have a boot cut and are SUPER flattering!! check them out, I think you'll love them!
