Very nice, annoying logo

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

This is the best, most comfortable shirt I own (tied with my other Ibex shirts). I'm taking off one star, though, because the logo on the back makes it look unnecessarily techy. Also, I hope it lasts long enough to justify the price.

Beautiful, but has size issues.

  • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
  • Fit: Runs large

I'm 187cm, 75kg. I own a lot of Icebreaker and find that their medium and large tend to fit me quite well. This shirt from Ibex, in size medium, is cavernous, at least 3cm bigger than my Icebreaker polos in every direction. Just designed to fit loose? Maybe, but it really really does. Vanity sizing?

Wear it on the bike and at the office.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I commute to work by bike and then wear it all day, several days a week. I guess I ought to get a few of them so that my co-workers don't think I'm a dirtbag.

Perfection

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I'm hooked on merino. That's all.

17.5 is soft

I picked up the 17.5 polo to wear on more casual occasions and it fits the bill very well. Ibex's 17.5 merino is the softest I have worn and it has all the great attributes of merino.
The one negative is that the material is a tad fragile. It will take a good beating, but not quite as well as some others.

Great shirt. Not perfect, but great

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: Runs large

Bought this shirt for my trip to Machu Picchu, because I'm a minimalist traveler who likes to work and play hard but still look good. I know: it's not the most ideal combination, but it's something I strive for.
After a couple flights and a couple days of hiking, I really enjoyed this shirt for these reasons: I loved the breathability and light feel of the fabric; as with most merino wool products, there was no noticeable funk to the shirt; and the blue color matched the one of this page perfectly.
My only complaints would be that, for a large, this shirt was very loose in the torso. Some people like that look, but I prefer a slimmer fit. Also, after a couple wears, the shirt even got looser.
Therefore, I'd give the shirt a 5 for performance, but a 4 for style.

Great Shirt

This shirt is so soft. I'm really glad I bought for my boyfriend - I love snuggling up to him when he wears it.

Lovin' the Wool

This is my 3rd Ibex 17.5 wool polo shirt. These fit as if they were tailored for me. Super soft and stylish, they look great at the office or on the street. Perfect when riding my bike to work and back as the stink doesn't linger like a cotton or poly shirt. These can be worn in any temperature. Cheers.

The most comfortable Ever

After owning several of the 18.5 micron t shirts from Ibex I got my hands on this little gem. The 17.5 is totally worth the price!! I can't stop wearing them. This shirt is super soft and breathable and I can even wear it on some of the hotter August days of CO.
