I think these are great! They fill my face up and look totally ridiculous but isn't that the nostalgic point? The red, white, and blue is awesome to sport your 'Merican pride while mono boarding to Boston's classic "More than a Feeling," people will be pointing you out all down the mountain. I would pair this with a good red, white, and blue sweatband and perhaps a sweet one piece.
My dad had a couple pairs of these from his ski bum days in the 70s. I "borrowed" them as a teenager and either lost or broke both pairs. It's really fun to have a pair again. I sent a couple pairs to my dad in an attempt to replace his originals.
okay if they are on sale
Not bad, I got them on a good discount and I really like them for around town use. However i'm not sure I would pay more than $20 for these
These have taken my skiing to the next level, some think parabolics, or rocker was the best thing to happen to skiing. I firmly disagree, it's the I Ski Cardiac Ridge Sunglasses, nothing boosts confidence like the CRS's. So grab your most technical 80's CB Sports coat, rear entry dalbello's and show everyone who's top gun.
I've got a pair of these that I've had...
I've got a pair of these that I've had since 1975 - got them in Vail at an 'I ski' sunglass sales promotional event on a spring ski break. Unfortunately, yesterday while out riding my motorcycle - they broke at the hinge. I need to find out if ,"I Ski' does repairs. Anyone with info; please reply to Son1wgfp@aol.com.... thanks in advance.
At that age I doubt you will get a repair for an cheaper than just buying a new pair...
been stopped on the street and asked where i got em several times already, total classics
Blast from the Past
These glasses are so sick! I just got them and my friends can't believe I have them. Glad I found them on Backcountry!
