The I/O Bio Merino Men's Universal Short-Sleeve Tee Gives you casual T-Shirt style with all of the benefits of merino wool. The Universal is ultra-softand comfortable. I'll start by saying that this shirt is quite comfortable, I dig the design (ember with the rainbow) and it appears to be of high quality.
Nevertheless I am a bit disappointed because the Backcountry product description calls this a "slim" fit while the I/O Bio description of the box explicitly says "Relaxed Fit." I'd say the fit tends more to the relaxed end of the spectrum and I'm bummed about that. Also, the shirt tail is surprisingly long--Like long enough that you could use it as a mini-skirt if that's how you roll. Perhaps a run through the washer will tidy these issues up.

You are correct Jonathan. The Universal Series from I/O Bio are relaxed fit styles. If you want a slim fit, check out their Contact Series.

I have one of these and went true to size. Haven't noticed any problem with shrinkage, but do air-dry all my merino and don't use the dryer.

This is my new favorite shirt! By far the most comfortable Merino wool product that I own and it fits perfectly! The red color is amazing! I wish they had more shirts, I would keep ordering!
