Description

Universally useful.

Functional fabrics that are also comfortable are not universal, but the I/O Bio Merino Men’s Universal Crew Shirt is an exception. The 100% sustainable merino Cipher II wool naturally and efficiently deals with odor and sweat and feels soft and smooth. Pull the long-sleeve Universal over your head on a summer night after the sun goes down, or pull it on to wear as a baselayer after your pre-skiing morning coffee. You’ll quickly realize how it got its name.

Long Tail, Easy to Tuck, Doesn't Ride Up

A very thin, very comfortable, lightweight base layer made of merino wool.

I'm not thrilled by the graphics, but the long tail makes it excellent as a base layer that will never pull out of your pants.

Love it!

This shirt is great! It is true to size and the thin wool makes a great base layer. I only experience a little itch after wearing a few days in a row

Buy them!

I bought two to try. I have used synthetics for years as a base layer. They wick well but stink to high heaven. I will often have to change shirts 3 to 4 times in a 24 hour shift. I wore one of these for two days straight and think I could have gone longer without driving anyone out of smelling range. I have since bought more. I do, however, wish they came in tall sizes.

Bought Two

I bought two to try. I have worn under armor and other synthetics as a base layers for work for several years. We move from indoors to outdoors frequently throughout our days. Synthetics did a great job of wicking sweat but at the cost smelling like a giant walking underarm. I often had to change shirts 3 to 4 times a day during a 24 hour shift. I wore this over the weekend for two days straight and think I could have gone longer without smelling even half as bad as with synthetics. I like them well enough that I bought more. I do, however wish they came in tall sizes.
