Welcome the sun back to the mountains and put on the I/O Bio Merino Women’s Contact Crib Top. This lightweight base layer works great on spring days when the snow softens and the deck is full of sunscreen-soaked faces. The Contact Crib wicks sweat and naturally blocks the stink so you stay fresh, and it also looks great when you use the ‘forgot your wallet’ trick in the bar after the lifts close.

Bottom Line: This time you’ll have ski bums fighting to pay your tab.

I love this shirt! It is very lightweight, soft and warm. It is perfect for layering and it doesn't get stinky like synthetic fabrics. It doesn't itch either. I purchased the I/O long Merino long underwear, as well.

I/O Bio Merino Contact Crib

I am a huge fan of merino wool in general and this shirt has not let me down. I was a little nervous when I first got it and pulled it out of the box. The unique rib fabric make the shirt appear TINY, but is very stretchy. The stretch is a good thing and a bad thing: it gives the shirt a very flattering, streamlined fit, but it also becomes a little sheer when it is stretched across the chest. This shirt is definitely intended to be a layering piece, it is not substantial enough to wear on it's own. I love the purple color and find myself throwing it on under a hoody at least once a week. I love it with the I/O Bio Signature hood, since the purple color matches the purple embroidery on the hoody. I had no problem wearing a medium (which is my normal size. I'm 5'6, 130-ish).
