Surgeon General's Warning.

I just want to bring to everybody's attention that you may need to find a sticker for this bottle, and that is the Surgeon General's warning label. It is printed on every growler that breweries sell with their logo, and some breweries will refuse to fill your growler if you don't have this sticker on it. In New Mexico it is state law, and I imagine that this is also the case elsewhere. Just something worth knowing if you are going to try and get this container filled with beer.
Two BIG thumbs up

This is great! It hold water for me all day with out refilling. The one thing i kinda dont like is that its a little bulky and can sometimes be ackward to hold or cary. My friends with smaller hands have to use both hand to hold it were its so wide, but other then that its great! I tested on how long it would keep water cold. I filled it up with ice water and set it in the sun at 10:30am and at 5:00pm still ice cold, and it was about 75-80 degrees that day. Im impressed!
Perfect when you'll be out in the heat a while

I love hydro flask already and while this wouldn't go in my bag when I'm trying to go light but when I'm working in the yard or car camping this is perfect. It's huge so you can go a while without filling up and it stays super cold. And the powder coat paint job just make it look cooler. Love this bottle!

This stainless steel Hydro Flask (64 oz.) Growler bottle polished to a high luster and engraved with my name and R.I.P..Will most likely be my final resting place until I'm properly given back to the earth in which I came.
Great bottle, Cheap Quality Cap

This bottle is made very well in regards to its stainless features. It keeps water cold and warm for a long period of time and is durable; however, the cap is too difficult to get tight enough to not leak, and when you do get it tight enough, it is extremely difficult to loosen. In addition, my bottle fell a short distance of about 18 inches(filled) and it cracked the cap instantly. Hydro Flask is a great brand and they do better smaller bottles.
It's a big one!

64oz growler next to a 16oz coffee cup for perspective.
How did I ever live without one?

Consistent with the other Hydro Flask bottles I have, the Growler is a AWESOME. It will seriously keep my beverage (i.e. BEER) cold all day...and probably longer if I ever didn't drink all of it. Not sure about the other review, but my lid doesn't leak at all and I'm not exactly gentle on the bottle. The durability and insulation of the Growler is super unique and it works. If you have a need for a Growler, look no further...
My Cap Leaks

I was excited when my 64oz. Wide Mouth Hydro Flask arrived in the mail. The first thing I did was clean it out with water and vinegar like Hydro Flask recommends and then I put the cap on and turned it upside down and water started leaking out of the cap so I tightend the cap a little more and water was still leaking out. It appears the cap is made of plastic that is too soft for the job it is designed to do. I can actually bend the cap out of shape without using much force. I have a Klean Kanteen wide mouth water bottle and I took the cap off that bottle and screwed it on to my Hydro Flask Wide Mouth Water Bottle and it doesn't leak at all. The Klean Kanteen cap is made of much harder plastic and also has stainless steel inside the cap for strengh. When I poured hot water inside my Hydro Flask the outside of the flask never got hot and when I poured cold water inside it the outside never got cold so the actual bottle works well it's just the cap that dosen't work and I don't think a replacement cap would help because it is a design problem. Hydro Flask needs to re-design the cap to make it a better product.
how do you clean the bottom of the container?...

i just shove a soapy sponge down there on my Primus bottles and work it around with a wooden spoon, but I'm decidedly low tech..

I would use PBW (look at any home brew site) for tough stains or residues. It will clean almost any surface to prefection given a little time and hot water (no scrubbing). A bottle brush should deal with all of your day-to-day cleaning.
