I have attempted to convert my existing Vittorio road bike tires to tubeless on carbon wheels (Reynolds). They will not seat. Would Hutchinson tires seat any better or do you have a remedy how to seat the tires?

You can't convert the tire to tubeless, only the wheels. You still need to buy actual tubeless tires, which Hutchinson makes

not my choice

got these because they were on sale for less than my normal tire selection (vredestein fortezza tricomp se) three weeks in, five flats, cuts all over it like it's got thousands of miles on it, and the real worry is the fact that i can take the tire off the rim without any assistance or trouble, practically fall off! i plan on calling hutchinson's customer service and seeing if their just faulty, if not this will be my last time on this brand.

race-day trainers

While I can't yet speak for thousands of miles of trouble-free longevity (around 5 or 600 miles at the time of this writing), really liking these tires so far. Seem to strike a very nice balance between lightweight and race-worthy, without being so feathery that they don't inspire confidence on rough roads, at very high speeds, or in sharp corners. The ride feels a lot more plush than other tires at this TPI as well.

Great tire for the price

I used to run Fusion 2s as training tires, then found these guys at an unbelievable price of $14/pop - had to get 4 of them. So far so good, after a few hundred miles, they feel great, corner well, and do all I need a training tire to do. I did have one flat, but I don't necessarily attribute it to the tire as some of my ride goes though urban areas and sometimes weird stuff is in the road. The best feature is the ease with which they mount and come off. I don't need tire levers to get these tires off my wheel. Another great quality in these tires is very little no back backspray in wet weather.

Fusion 3's best Hutchi's yet

Great tires at an unbelievable price.
I ride them at 100psi (I'm 175), very comfortable and (knock wood) no flats. Was on Fusion 2's for past year +, w/ only 1 flat in well over 5k mi per tire.

Fusion 3 Ultra/ Atom Comp

I'm a big fan of Hutchinson tires. I bought a bunch of these Fusion 3 tires, as well as the Atom Comp tires
that recently were on sale. The Fusion 3's weigh in the 205/210gm range, which is quite a bit less than the 235g stated.

I haven't ridden the Fusion 3's yet, but the Atom's rolled real nice, and eventhough they are sub 200g tires, I haven't had
any flats on them...

runnin' the Atoms here in California's low desert and have been waylaid by how quick they wore out. Plus they flatted with annoying regularity. You getting good wear from the Hutch Fusions?

How does this tire compare to the Fusion 2?

Ric probably has his answer by now, but the Fusion 3 tire weighs less than the 2's.
It looks like the Fusion 2's might be just a bit wider/more substantial than the 3's.
I am running the HED 25mm wide rims, and the 3's appear to be narrower than the 2's.

I have the 3's mounted, but have not put them on the rode yet..
