HuckNroll gives long-sleeved shout-outs to the Huck ape's endangered cousin, the Howler Monkey. The Howler Jersey has a little extra room built into the shoulders for your pads and an antimicrobial treatment that won't necessarily make you bearable to be around, but it will help you smell a little less after a face-melting downhill.

Used it for farm labor

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:Runs large

Bit of a tight neck, loosens with some pulling. Very comfortable, a bit roomy.

I worked on a farm for about a year, in Maryland. So, scorching hot, humid, sometimes with a pack on. I needed long-sleeves to prevent getting burned, and actually to stay cooler. This jersey kept me cool, kept sun out really really well, and worked while hiking or biking too. Note: in high winds it is, understandably, a bit chilly. In mind weather changes, as might happen on a long ride, it holds up nicely. It's a little dorky and bright, but so are most jerseys. . Only complaint: a tad big for me. I'm 5'6" and 135 lbs, got a medium which is a little loose.

just bought 2nd one

  • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

UNBELIEVABLE JERSEY

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Bought one of each color from HuckNRoll before they were bought out. I got them abt. four months ago and they are hands down my favorite jersey !!! I do a lot of trail riding and don't all ways wear elbow pads but when I do there is plenty of room under these jersey's. I paid forty something back when I bought them and thought that was a great price, at this sale price it is almost criminal not to buy one. I will get a couple more just so I have them. BUY THIS JERSEY !!!! you will not be disappointed.

UNBELIEVABLE JERSEY

Awesome Jersey

I grabbed this jersey in each of the available colors mostly because they were cheap, but also because I loved the design of the cream/charcoal colored one. I didn't think I would be a fan of the red jersey but I added it since you get free shipping over $50 thinking I would just use it when it was muddy out. But in person the red jersey looks much better than the pics, not nearly as loud as the pics make it look and the cream/charcoal one looks just as great as I expected. Both fit pretty loose and hang down far enough to cover you on the bike. The cuffs fit a little tighter than I like, but they will stretch and its not something that ruins the jersey. Hope these being on sale isn't a sign that H&R isn't making their own gear anymore because these are great and I want more stuff with the Howler Monkey on it! At this price I think Ill be buying a couple more.

Shirt's fine. Logo? Not so much.

I have no problem with the jersey... it's just the type I like to wear. However, the photo only shows it from the front. The back has a big-ass (literally) Huck-n-Roll logo including the ape! It's not a deal breaker, but I wish it were otherwise.

      Style and Quality

I really like this jersey. The description is spot-on when it says that the jersey is sized for body armor underneath. If you don't wear shoulder pads and don't like baggy clothes, you may want to size down. For me, the arms are long when not on the bike but perfect when in a riding position. The fabric is thick and feels durable. The color I got was cream/charcoal and I like it enough that I'm considering getting a second jersey in red.

        Awesome colors!

Got the cream/charcoal jersey and it is loose and comfortable but the stand out feature is the aquamarine highlights on the collar and wrists. There is also very subtle threading with the same color on the pleats. Big thumbs up!
