Some people need coffee to wake up, I prefer to solo ski steep lines. I guess it’s what works best for you. For me, the dose of cream, sugar, or white powder changes with the snow conditions. Sometimes it becomes all of the above on what’s in my cup, but that’s usually up to Mother Nature to decide.

Today I climbed up past the Frey Refugio and to the south side of Rocha Inclinada also known as the leaning rock summit. I had hoped to get on top, but it looked a little beyond my safety co-efficient.

So 15 feet below the summit, I traversed a south line down to the valley. The flavor for this morning’s coffee was cream. It was so nice I returned for another cup, climbing up a new route.
