    Feel the warmth.

Ascend, descend, or just shamelessly lounge all day on the couch in the Houdini Airborn Alpine Tight. A thin, lightweight, merino-silk blend garment in a three-quarter length, it offers comfortable warmth for all your activities. The gusseted crotch enables easy range of movement, the soft waistband and extended back height provide secure coverage, and the moisture-wicking nature of the fabric keeps you dry even at full-throttle. And with the durability of silk and the natural antimicrobial properties of merino, it'll remain intact and fresh longer than any comparable synthetic tight.

    Lite and tight

    • Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit:True to size

Just got these and took them backcountry for a long ascent so thought I would share my thoughts. First the material is soft and the material breathes wonderfully. The length of these is really long. I don't prefer this in a 3/4 length, because it defeats the purpose of the concept. In my experience and opinion, a 3/4 should come to the top of the calves and or ski socks. The point being they are not creating more bulk in my boot liners. The other thing is that while touring with these, I noticed a lot of fabric wearing at the seams. I have a few base layers, but none of them have ever wore down like this so, I am not sure if this is temporary for this product, or abnormal wear. Other than that, I have a 33 inch waist and purchased these in a medium, and the fit was perfect. I am 5' 10" and felt the length on these was longer than I would prefer, but some might anatomically fit these better. To offset the length I just pulled up the legs so they bunched up just a little under the knee, but was not too bothersome.
