The Horny Toad Val Skirt has laid-back style, but it's ready for action at all times. Pull on this semi-fitted, knee-length skirt for a mad dash to the beach or brunch with the boyfriend. Horny Toad made this fun, flattering skirt from their Velush fabric, a sinfully soft blend of cottons and polyester. Imagine wrapping one of those plush luxury-hotel towels around you. But unlike a towel, the Val Skirt is slightly stretchy, and Horny Toad gave it small side slits, a low-rise drawstring waist, and a big kangaroo pocket.
Bottom Line: The Horny Toad Val Skirt lets you look great at the last minute.

It's like if you took velour sweatpants, and made them into a skirt! So comfortable, and casual enough to clean house in. Although I don't deny the alteration described below would be cute, I like this skirt fine the length it is. I would note that the skirt runs large -- I wear large or medium in Horny Toad pants, but wear a small in these skirts, because I am curvy and my waist runs a smaller size than my hips. In the small, the hem falls higher on me (just above the knee) which does look better. Hem length is always important.
Great when it's shorter!

The fabric on this skirt is awesome and the color is great - But it is too long! I had it altered 7in shorter and now it's perfect (and no, it's not too short!)
