I picked up this dress for my fiancee to wear to her wedding shower. It was a hit! The dress is cool and casual, yet the embroidered pattern gives it a touch of class. She received many compliments on it.
The outer layer is a light cotton, but it is also lined with another layer of light cotton fabric as to not be see-through.
Also, Horny Toad states that this made out of 100% organic cotton on their website.
Does this dress have a little stretch to the fabric?

Only as much as woven cotton fabric has. There is no Lycra or anything like that in the dress--it is 100% cotton.

I am a petite size, and this dress did not fit well. The fabric and color was nice, but it will probably fit taller women much better.

I am 5'10" 155 lbs. We will be eloping in the San Juan Island so want something that is elegant but not too dressy. I am fairly large busted and curvy. Do you think this dress would work or do you have any other suggestions. I would like a blue dress.

I LOVE this dress. I'm 5'8" and 130lbs and I ordered a MEDIUM...it's PERFECT!!!! A little big in the top but maybe it's b/c I'm smaller but the length is awesome. I wore it to a neighborhood 4th of July and EVERYONE thought it was cute...it's comfortable and definitely made well...for the same $ I bought a knit dress from J CREW only to find out that you could sort of see through it. HORRIBLE. What a waste of $ that was. I'm definitely loving the Horny Toad quality and look though!
