Horny Toad Lucien Dress - Women's - 2009 BCS

Love this dress! Super comfy, but still flattering. Empire waist so hugs the smallest part of your torso, but roomier in the hips. I dressed it up with long black boots and wore it to work.

I bought one of these dresses in blue at a shop in Michigan at the end of November. After wearing it once, I knew I had to have another one in another color. Two weeks later, I ordered a red one from backcountry.com. Not normally one others would consider as a "dress girl," I was shocked by how much I love this dress. It's the perfect fit, it's super-comfortable, it holds its shape well, it doesn't wrinkle, I can dress it up or dress it down, and I already want a third one!

I have loved horny toad clothes for a while now because they fit my slender figure (small chest and hips). Their pants fit because they are made for women without big hips. But this dress was made for women with hips! That is great if you have them but for those of us who don't, it was a total bummer. I love the dress and even contemplated altering it myself but in the end didn't take that chance of messing it up, so I returned it. I don't understand why horny toad did a switch here in their usual styling...

This is a great dress. Comfortable, good length, a little sexy even. Definitely recommend it. I purchased the ebony and the color is true to the online image. A medium fit great- I am 5'8" and about 145 pounds. hemline hits right around the knee- no need for a hem!
