Zip up the Horny Toad Women’s Idgie Down Jacket, hit the slopes, then hit on all the good-looking guys at the bar afterwards. When you’re sporting this stylish jacket, you’re sure to turn a few heads. Fluffy goose down and attached knit cuffs keeps you warm until the last chair lift, and the circular embroidery will keep you looking good until last call. When it’s time to head for the pub, zip off the insulated hood, and stash your wallet in the inside, zippered pocket.

Bottom Line: Ski in with the Idgie, ski out with a few phone numbers.

It hits me about 2in below the hip. I have it in xs. I should also mention I have a long torso, so it may be a few inches longer if you are average.

super fashionable & warm

I love this jacket. It's got enough warmth for me and I'm always cold (really always cold). I got it cuz I didn't want to wear my white snowboarding jacket around town and get it all dirty. This was perfect. I got it in the lime green color, it's bright cute and fun. I always get compliments on it anytime I wear it out. I haven't had a single snag and I've had this jacket for over a year.... knock on wood. Granted, I do own lots of other jacket so I wasn't wearing this one everyday. The jacket has cute embroidery detail all over the outside... so I can see how it would snag, I would just avoid velcro and those types of things. I recommend this jacket and think it's great!

warm but too fragile

This is the warmest coat I've ever owned.....however......for the cost, it is not holding up. The embroidery is getting snagged on EVERYTHING. I'll be sending it back after owning it for two weeks. Got LOTS of compliments on it and it was very flattering. If you don't need it as your primary coat, then have at it. However, it's not durable enough for everyday wear. And at the cost, for me, that doesn't work out.

Write your comment here... Hi thanks for your review. You say that the embroidery is getting snagged, is it happening on its own or is it because its getting brushed all the time during your activities? And is it OK in the rain, does it take a long time to dry?
Cheers

Rarely does the actual down need cleaning. Dab the exterior with damp cloth and a little soap, trying not to wet the down since it loves to lump. Use damp clean cloth as necessary to rinse. Press between dry towels to dry as much as possible and hang in a warm place. Fluff as necessary. Dry clean as a last resort only with a down specialist that does not use nasty chemicals.
