Clutch Pant - Men's

Durable and strong, but far from predictable, the Horny Toad Men's Clutch Pant knows how to work hard but lives for the weekend. As burly as your old corduroys, these pants feature a cotton/nylon blend woven into pronounced horizontal cords, giving them a unique style and tons of strength. Strong doesn't always equal stiff, and the Clutch Pants prove it. Their relaxed fit and enzyme wash make them comfortable to wear for long, active days. Several pockets add convenience without detracting from the clean lines and sharp silhouette.

Bottom Line: The Horny Toad Clutch Pants are as rugged as your old pickup truck, but much easier on the eyes.

Used these pants hiking in Sedona and the Grand Canyon. best word to describe them is comfort. The breathe great and hold up well to snags and abbrasions. Well worth the money and true to size.

Good For Outdoors, not in town

These pants work well for work, hiking, etc. but have a stiffness about them and a rather wide leg that makes them look awkward when worn with anything smaller than a boot. While they more than cut the mustard in terms of ruggedness, and they cannot be convincingly "dressed up" and worn to town for things more formal than say a lumberjack contest.

Decent but cannot double for in town.

Overall pant works fine for warmer weather use out of doors; hiking, working, etc. My issue is that the legs are very wide and the material while not as stiff as say a Carhartt, is none the less stiffer than a normal khaki. This makes them really look strange, worn with anything smaller than a boot. Some of my other pants are more versatile and can double as a dressier pant when worn with a smaller shoe for say, a night on the town.
