Get buzzed.

Everybody loves waffles, but Honey Stinger's 16-Pack of Stinger Waffles might elevate your love to the next level. Not only are they delicious (with flavors running the gamut from lemon to vanilla to chocolate to strawberry), but they pack a natural nutrition punch that's tastier than lab-developed frankenbars. Most of the energy comes from honey, which is easy to digest so you never feel like you just ate a brick. The chewy texture of the waffle is just right—not too hard, not too soft—and they're so tasty that you'll probably find yourself snacking on them even when you're off the bike or trail. Each box comes with 16 individually wrapped waffles that are easy to stash away in a pocket. Heads up—Honey Stinger waffles contain wheat, soy, and eggs, so they're not for folks with allergies.

  • 16 individually wrapped waffles

flat eats! Great treats!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I really enjoy the caramel Waffle, The flatness makes them pack nicely. Even when a crumbled mess they are still delicious.

Great snack

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These taste great in the strawberry and provide a great amount of energy without bulk.

Why is the Honey always gone?

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I wanted to get some nutrition that didn't taste like dirt so I tried the Honey Stinger Waffles and haven't ever looked back. These things are amazing! Now I'm not one of those people that is always looking at the nutrition facts and trying to see how much protein I'll get from a bar, or how many carbs or blah blah blah, I just wanted something to eat on the trail while biking or hiking that wouldn't make me feel sick and would give me that little energy I needed. Are these the most nutritional for the buck? I have no idea. Do I like them? Definitely. Does my wife like them? Yeah! So it works out. If you want something tasty and doesn't make you dread having to eat on the trail, the Honey Stinger Waffles are a great way to do it.

Keeps me running

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Running 8 miles in the morning on an empty stomach is a recipe for a bad run, so I gave these a try. The honey are not overly sweet and I can run within 30 minutes after eating without any problems. Also great for hiking, climbing and biking. Lightweight and compact, but also looks and tastes like real food. On my second box now.

Great for anything

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've used these on everything from short morning rides to full 24 hour races. They've kept me going through all of it!

Score

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

The first thing I want to say is that no matter how much nutritional value something has, if it tastes like cardboard nobody's going to eat it. Does this have nearly as much nutritional effect as some other things I've tried: Nope. But it tastes absolutely fantastic. Therefore, it gets 4/5 stars.

Waffles

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

First time trying these, taste great! Excellent healthier option than a candy bar up on the slopes or out on a hike. Nice little energy boost without a sugar crash. I've only tried the chocolate but loved them and would try others.

Favorite Ski/Bike Snack

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Whether its after peddling a couple laps at the 12 hours of Sundance or during a dawn patrol skin up Brighton these are by far my favorite quick bite. I have tried all flavors except the honey and the tastiest(in my professional opinion) is the Strawberry. I love the texture of these and they don't make me crash, or feel bogged down.

Delish

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Perfect quick snack on the run. I've tried chocolate, strawberry, honey and vanilla and the vanilla is the best by far! I love the texture.

Cardboard

Maybe I got a bad batch, or maybe its the way they are, but I found these more difficult to stomach than other options. The one I had was incredibly cardboardy, think waffles left out all day, put in a refrigerator, then microwaved (that sort of texture).

I've tried the Lemon and the Strawberry. Preferred the Lemon, but I'd rather have one of the many other Honey Stinger products I actually like. It did give me a boost of energy, so it got the job done.

Good product, but not for me

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I tried one in my kitchen and liked it. But, on the bike they are a little to dry for me and hard to get down. Just a preference thing. Giving 4 stars because it is a good product, just a little dry.

I go on rides just so I can eat them

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love these on a long ride. Sometimes I add a some miles just so I can have another one. Great for running and riding. Slip easily into a jersey or pocket. Chocolate is my favorite but I also even the honey and the vanilla.

Delicious

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Every time I get a new box I have to restrain myself from ripping into them all savage-like. Great for skiing and other winter sports as they do not turn into a teeth chipping brick

Great Sack

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These things are the perfect side kick for anything in the outdoors. I mainly drag them along hiking or fishing. They are small enough that throwing a couple in your pack is well worth it, even if there's a good chance you wont need them. The Honey is my favorite. I usually love strawberry items, but this strawberry flavor was a little different, I didn't hate it but I've had better. Hands down, if you like Honey flavored items this will become your go to.

Referred taste

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Eating these two at a time with some Justin's peanut butter smashed between is the jam of all jams. I recommend you give that a go.

love these

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

these taste really good, and give you the energy to keep going and to finish the race!

Will take it backpacking again!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought the honey flavor and took on a section hike on the AT. It's delicious - reminded me of a sugar waffle cone, but softer. I like that it is compact (packed in my pocket easily)and high cals for the energy. I don't like trail snacks that make me feel "full" so this product was perfect for me.

Tasty, Great Texture

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Unlike many bike foods, these have a great mouthfeel and food texture, not unlike real food. The downside is that in a jersey or bag, they can crumble a little. Not a deterrent agains these, though. I believe that it is a welcome relieve to have bike food that is not a gel, goo, gummy or block of bird-food like substance. It is food, so everyone is different. If you and your GI tract likes it, that is super for you.
