Description
Vitamins, protein, and energy—plus the delicious taste of honey.
If you've ever done a 12 hour bike race or a long adventure race, you'd know that gels can only remain appetizing for so long. After a half day of slurping down semi-liquid nutrition products, you'll crave something that you can chew. Honey Stinger Energy Bars "feel" more like normal food, but they offer all of the easy-to-digest attributes of Honey Stinger Energy Gel.
Honey is nature's energy food. The bees that produce it have done the difficult work of transforming it into a just right blend of simple sugars that are easily and quickly digestible for us. This blend of glucose and fructose is 1:1 in honey and is the same as the fruit we eat. That's why honey is such a great endurance nutrition product -- it won't upset your stomach as you eat and continue on with your exertion.
Honey Stinger Energy Bars are made of at least 30% honey and offer 20% of your Daily allowance of protein along with 22 vitamins and minerals, calcium, and antioxidants. They come in a box of 15 bars and are available in four flavors -- Apple Cinammon, Berry Banana Buzz, Peanut Butter 'n Honey, and Rocket Chocolate.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I've used these as an "inbetweener" when chasing elk in the mountains. Good combo of protein and carbs in the PB'nH flav. Also use them along with a recovery drink immediately after an ultra. Good stuff!
Just add water

Taste great and perform great (love 'em pre-ride) but make sure you've got something in your hand to wash it down with.
Tasty!

I got the Berry Banana Buzz and love the flavor. It's got a little bit of crunch, but doesn't wear your jaw out like a Clif Bar can. Have some water ready if you're going to eat one of these, but you should have water with you anyway.
I like them?

End the suffer-fest of trying to get a chalky grainy energy bar down your throat and just buy these. Went from energy bar id use on tours to snack id eat whenever i could. They're delicious!Peanut butter and honey!

I simply cannot believe how good this tasted. Even the 7 year old was loving them. No question, we'll be taking these on our backpacking trips again. Can we have a packaging that is burnable?
Energy that tastes good?

I love these things, I'm pretty sure if they weren't so expensive I would eat them daily. I've only had apple cinnamon and berry banana buzz but they were both delicious. I practically lived off of these for a few weeks. They give you great energy without making you feel weighted down like probars do. All organic goodness

This is the best bar you can have while racing or training. They taste great, are moist enough to get down in a hurry, and have great nutritional values. I have even used these in criteriums without thinking they are too dry. I highly recommend!

I tried my first Honey Stinger Energy Bar today and I was impressed. I ate a Berry Banana Buzz about 1 mile into a 10 mile trail run. It had a great taste and good texture, and the white frosting like coating on the bottom was an added bonus. My stomach stayed happy and it seemed to give me a good energy boost. I am looking forward to trying the other flavors..!!
Best tasting energy bar

Having tried nearly everything else on the market - and sort of tolerating the taste - these are finally an energy bar that just tastes good. I can eat Cliffs or Powerbars, but these taste better, and do a pretty good job of filling me up as either a snack or pre/post workout.
effing delicious!

most bars taste like vitamin death laced with some rice crispies and drizzled with gross ass chocolate...not these. hands down the best tasting bar out there.(minus probars, but i would consider them in a different category). the ingredients are healthy and natural, so you feel good eating it. i have only had the peanut butter and honey. can't wait to try more flavors!
Taste Great!

The berry ones happen to be my favorite , but the apple ones do taste great as well. This is seriously one of the easiest bars to eat while riding.
