Knowing where you are may seem like an easy skill, but once you throw yourself into a roadless wilderness with no defined trail, you might need the Highgear Trail Drop Compass to prevent the dreaded 'L' word that your pride resists like the plague. Practice orienting yourself before you head out so you'll be able to easily set down your topo map, level the Trail Drop's bubble, and use this digital compass' 360-degree cardinal points to make your next move toward an empty paradise.

  • Digital true north arrow, compass calibration, and adjustable declination make sure your readings are sharp no matter where you travel
  • A rotating bezel and degree-marking function make orienteering easy to learn as well as teach
  • Integrated thermometer tracks the air temp from -14F to 122F and adjusts to display Celsius
  • A chronograph tracks your time for up to 24 hours, with up to 100 laps, so you can mark how long each mile takes and determine how far you can hike
  • Three different timers count down to zero for cooking or wilderness swimming time trials
  • The included digital clock displays the time, day, and date in two time zones
  • A dual daily alarm reminds you when the trusty raven will fly overhead, and the display's backlight ensures you can still navigate after dark
  • Tough rubberized plastic case is 10m water-resistant so it doesn't quit working in downpours and clumsy drops into puddles

Bottom Line: A very lightweight, clip-on digital compass with much more to offer than just a way back to cheeseburgers.

The temperature is reading too high. When I try to adjust it

The temperature is reading too high. When I try to adjust it the S2 button only adjusts up. How do I adjust the temperature readout down?
