When the funky pow grooves caress your ear drums on the first stupid-deep morning of the year, roll over and give the High Society Powchickawowwow Early Rise Ski a wake-up kiss; if you think the night you just spent together was awesome, wait 'til you spend the day crushing double-overhead pow. High Society designed the Powchickawowwow with a fat 122mm waist and early rise in the tip to eat up all the soft and uneven stuff, but gave it just enough camber underfoot to rail turns when conditions call for it.
The poplar core's light, but stiffened up with carbon fiber stringers and a tri-axial fiberglass laminate, and the 360-degree edges rock a rubber foil dampening system for control and smoothness when you're hammering down choppy or icy snow. If you hit a death cookie at mach 17 (thanks, sintered 4000 base), you might fold up like the futon you sleep in, but your bindings will stay locked into the ski, seeing as there's a special screw-retention plate underfoot. There had to be some reason the Powchickawowwow (formerly called the FR Rocker) was the Freeskier Magazine Editor's Pick for two years in a row.
