FR Ski

Backcountry booters, groomed superpark hits, and thread-the-needle tree shots all quake at the sight of the High Society FR Ski. Built with total mountain domination in mind, the FR is a go-anywhere twintip that excels on any terrain, in all but serious snorkel-depth pow. Its short turn radius and snappy, carbon-stringer-boosted poplar core respond in tight situations and help create pop for the park. Rubber-dampened edges cut vibration on hard snow, and a tri-directional fiberglass core wrap combines with High Society’s Screw Retention System to dial the FR’s toughness rating into cage-match territory.

Bottom Line: BC freestyle badditude.

Great Twintip

I have the previous season's model of this ski and it is great. Snappy and responsive, it carves well at speed, has decent float, and can even do bumps. I like these better than the skis I replaced, which were my volkl bridges.

It's not a mogul ski per se, it's a freeride ski, but if you go a little shorter on length, they're pretty good in the bumps while still letting you ski powder. I have 'em in 179 and I was doing well in the moguls at jackson (and I'm not much of a mogul skier).

WOW!

Got about 25 hard days on these bad boys so far this year and they absolutely rip! Bomb through crud, hammer out groomers, cruise through the trees, float in the powder, whatever you want to do. This ski truly does everything and does it well. Very impressed with how well they've held up after the beating I've given them. Perfect ski for the aggressive skier.
