Hestra made the XCR Short Ski Glove for rippers who demand a low-profile glove that can keep hands warm and dry in extreme conditions. Thermolite insulation handles the warmth part, and the combination of Hestra’s Triton polyamide waterproof shell fabric and a Gore-Tex XCR insert blocks moisture. The Bemberg lining wicks moisture from within, and hook-and-loop cuff closure seals out snow and wind.
Bottom Line: Short on wetness and cold.

Sorry it took so long to write this however, as the season finally ended, I realized how much I loved these gloves. From super cold days at Kmart to thigh deep at Alta, these gloves rocked! Velcro wrist keeps out the cold and snow and the Gore Tex keeps everything dry. And the wrist straps keep idiots like me from losing their gloves on the lift. Cheers.
