Dry

These are the gloves I go to super-wet coastal snow days, for snowmobiling, climbing or generally when the chance to have extremely wet hands would be probable. These are the Hestra's to go for if you want to stay super dry.

Poor Quality

By:

When i received these gloves, I was quite pleased with the initial quality. The gloves felt great, looked great, and worked pretty well for a short period of time. I will say that my hands were a little cold under 25 degrees or so, but I always have cold hands.

My real issue is the quality. Although I've had these gloves for a couple of years, I generally only get to take one trip a year, so there have only been ~10 days skiing with these gloves and the stitching is coming appart in the fingers. For such a pricey glove, I really expected more. Maybe Hestra has improved the quality since I bought the gloves and I hope they have, but from now on I'll play it safe and by a different brand. I bought a pair of OR mitts and they appear to be bombproof for much less money.

Spend your hard earned dollars on something else.

Sicktor!

If you are looking for a sweet Gortex glove from Hestra, this is the one! Super warm and comfy. The picture does not do this glove any justice. I have to say that this is one of the most comfortable gloves I own from Hestra. Not too mention I have had a pair for a few years now and they do not look old or worn. If I were to rate these on a scale of 1 - Wicked, definitely wicked!!

Great for cold-ish skiing

By:

I've been using these for a few seasons, and can't say enough good things about them. They're pretty warm (a little too much on those warm spring days, and not enough when it's sub-zero and the wind is howling - get the Seth 3-fingers for those conditions), perfect for most days. The palm gets scratched up a bit from ski edges, but mine are still solidly intact after well over 100 days of heavy use and abuse. Warm, tough, waterproof, and dextrous as...well, dextrous enough for anything you need to do.

Awesome

These are great gloves. They are very warm and the Gore-Tex is great. I tried about 4 other Hestra models before keeping these. I've used these in all conditions and haven't been let down once. Cuff works great as either an under or over style. I had some sizing issues working out the right fit but once its right they're great. I definitely recommend these.

The perfect glove!

By:

My hands tend to sweat when boarding. With these gloves my hands are never too hot and never too cold. The lining is not removable like the army hestea's I used to have. The gortex is amazing in these gloves and the leather is super soft. I constanstly change my gear until it's just right. Finally my search for the PERFECT glove is over! The under cuff fits perfectly under my 686 plexus jacket
