Thats it thats all!

This is the last you'll see these gloves. My first glove with Hestra, we created a sleek all season offering. I have heard complaints about it being to thin, but for me I never had a problem with this. From the sub zero temps of CO in December to the peaks of Haines, AK in April I found it to be great for all temps. Its insulated with a Czone insert that acts as a wind barrier that breaths, like Gore Tex. This glove is lower on the wrist and should be worn under the wrist of the jacket. The last gloves I had, had one goggle wipe on one finger of the set, where as before it was on both. Slight padding on top of hand and fingers for protection. The reverse stitching gives a great feel on the hand unlike anything else other than Hestra. Be sure to use the waterproofing wax that comes with the gloves. It seals and waterproofs, makes a noticeable difference when this is done, warmer and drier. Redo as necessary. As stated if they are tight they will stretch out, its leather! Get them while they last.

These gloves are as big of Rockstars as Seth himself

If you're looking for a glove that is durable, gives you great dexterity, and is ultra comfortable, these are it. They may not be the warmest glove in the Hestra line, but hey... they aren't made for the week of mind. These gloves are made for those who ski hard and fast. The rubber finger guards help save your little digits from being crushed when you are blinded by the billowing pow and you accidently hit that aspen tree with your fist. The full leather construction ensures that your not stuck on the top of some remote peak and the nylon on your glove blows out a seam. These gloves are as burly as Seth himself. I you find that your gloves feel a little too snug when you first put them on, give em a chance, they stretch big time, and will fit as snug and comfy as well... a glove.

GREAT PRODUCT BUT NOT QUITE I WAS EXPECTING

GREAT GLOVES BUT DISAPPOINTED. I ORDERED THE SETH MORRISON SIGNAURE GLOVES BUT THE ITEM THAT I RECEIVED DIDN'T HAVE THE FULL SIGNATURE ON THE CUFF UNLIKE THE PICTURE LISTED. FULL REFUND WAS OFFERED BUT DECIDED TO KEEP THE GLOVES AS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PERSON SAID EVEN IF I RE-ORDER, THEY CAN'T GAURANTEE THAT I WILL RECEIVE THE GLOVES WITH FULL SIGNATURE ON THE CUFFS. I REALLY WANT THE GLOVES WITH FULL SIGNATURE ON CUFF AS THE ITEM WAS A PRESENT FOR MY HUSBUAND, AND HIS NAME IS "MORRISON". IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A PERFECT GIFT FOR HIM IF THERE WAS THE FULL SIGNATURE ON IT AS THE PICTURE. GLOVES ARE GREAT THOUGH...

Once you go Hestra you never go back

This is my third pair of Hestra gloves, I strayed for a bit but came back and bought these. These gloves are simply amazing, comfortable, warm, super flexible. The one drawback might be that the cuff is not a little longer but its pretty minor.

            BEST GLOVE EVER ! ! !

Fits nice and tight but some how keeps my hands super warm. I could write about this glove all day, but the bottom line is THIS IS THE BEST GLOVE I HAVE EVER HAD. If you can get passed the price, you will love this glove, and it is built to last.

              PARK/PIPE

These are beautiful for the moderate cold days between -5 to 15-, I have not been got up to the colder temperatures but I am sure they will be great for rippin. I am in the park mostly and one of the worst thing to do is fall and get your hand hit because usually your hands go numb, freeze, and you have to go into the chalet for a cup of hot chocolate to warm your hands up. But not for these, When I missed my 540 and hit my hand the knuckle guards protected my hand and leaved not one scratch on them. BEAUTIFUL

Best for Double digit F temps

These gloves are pretty sweet. However, they aren't my first choice for single digit or negative temperatures. I used them in Colorado in -7 and 5 degree F temps and my hands got pretty cold. I now use these for double digit days and stick with my heli pros for the cold days.

                  pretty cool

sweet gloves all enall. i got the white n green one, the leather is really soft. only problem with the white is that its gonna get dirty pretty quick. used em today, hands were nice n toasty at -10c. my only concern with these is endurance, because the leather is so soft im afraid they'll get worn out when im carryin my skiis, i try to handle them by the toe piece of the binding to avoid the edges

                    Luv Glove

Great full leather glove. They put extra leather in all the right spots. It is a tighter fit than some other gloves I've used but it doesn't seem to not let your hands breath or cut off circulation in any way. The fleece lining on the inside is super soft and the primaloft does a great job of keeping your hands warm. The very first day I used them I had a slight problem with them freezing up. They'd get a little wet (although my hands stayed dry) and then it'd freeze. When I got back I treated them with the small thing of provided hestra leather balm and when I went out again a day later they were great and I didn't have any problems with them freezing up at all.

                      Pretty sweet

Pretty cool gloves. They fit quite tight but apparently they are suppose to have a "Fits like a Glove" fit. They are about as thick as a spring glove so I am quite curious to see how warm they truly are on cold days. The lifetime warranty is cool most companies don't offer that. They are a pretty sick design too!

                        I'm Sold

...Thanks again to the outstanding, knowledgable advice from the backcountry.com "gear-heads", I will be enjoying my signiture Seth Morrison's soon! And judging from the abundance of fellow-b.c.-loyalist, the averages of their review's, are in my favor for purchasing a rock solid product! THNX! I love this community!

                          Quality product in general...

I definitely dig these gloves. They were warm in Banff (-20 deg C) and I've used them at Snoqualmie summit (40 deg F). Very versatile and low volume. I would suggest using the leather conditioner to work them in. I did rip a the top part of the glove (from pulling them off at the fingers) and I sent them two Hestra who fixed them no charge. They will soak up water as many leather gloves do, so they'll get heavy, but I didn't experience any of the wetness on my hands.

                            Simply the best

I was told that Hestra made the best gloves available, and now I concur. Even though I'm a snowboarder, I went with the Seth Morrison's for several reasons. I wanted a low volume glove, with dexterity enough to handle switching bindings on my split board. They needed to be full leather, waterproof and warm to boot. Not many gloves fit the bill, but these have exceeded my expectations. I can't verify super cold temps, I've only tested them down to 10degF, but I have worn them above 30F, and my hands didn't sweat, and they were very waterproof in relatively wet conditions. I was concerned at first about them being too small, but after applying the supplied leather conditioner, and wearing them one day, they softened up and fit perfectly. However, I noticed the palm is pretty narrow, I don't have bear paws, so you may want a larger size if you do. I plan on using these for ice climbing as well, since the knuckles have some decent padding, and the grip/feel is outstanding. Btw, the finger squeegee works great too.

                              Amazing gloves

I have owned a lot of gloves in the past (option nfa, burton gor-tex, level etc.). Nothing comes close to these Hestra Seth's! They are super slim/low volume gloves. They are warm up till -10 deg/c! they fit great under the jacket cuff and are very waterproof. Also they dry much faster any other gloves I have owned! Only thing to watchout is the leather palms, they may get damaged from ski edges.. no problems yet!

How does this glove compare to the Vertical...

How does this glove compare to the Vertical Cut Freeride? I'm guessing not quite as warm with a more snug fit.

Yeah, you're pretty spot in your comparison. The Seth is more dexterous with better feel. It does this however by sacrificing some warmth. It is a thinner glove than the vertical cuts. If you look at this year's Seth, it is thicker, warmer, more beefed up glove. The vertical cuts on the other hand are still very dexterous, and provide great feel, but are a little thicker and warmer than the Seths. What it boils down to is how cold do your hands get and what temps will you be skiing in?

So my measurement is exactly an eight, and I'm really digging the discount on these gloves...how necessary is it to go a size up?

sizing question. if my fingers measure just over 7 inches, am i a 7 or an 8?

I usually wear a large in gloves, but I don't know anything about the Hestra size numbering. What the difference between a size 7 and size 11?
