Great gloves for cold fingers

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

I've used Hestra's heater gloves before skiing in New England, and I absolutely love them. When I start to get cold fingers, they tend to stay cold - unless I use these gloves. The heat is supplied at the fingertips and you can turn up the intensity depending on how cold it is. If it's a coldish day (10 F), I keep them on the lowest setting all the time and then turn them up a notch going up the ski lift. I only use them at the hottest setting if it's really cold (-10 F). If you keep them between the lowest and the medium settings, they will last a full ski day.

what is the difference between hestra power heater glove and hestra heater glove?

The Power Heaters are a bit closer-fitting and have greater dexterity. From an ice climbing perspective, the Heaters are belay gloves while the Power Heaters are leading gloves.

Very pleased !

I bought these gloves to wear while riding my motorcycle. I like to ride year 'round, and keeping my hands warm was a problem. While I won't say my hands stay toasty warm now, they definitely stay comfortable even on lengthy rides whereas before they were like chunks of ice. I would think they would work well for any cold weather activity.

My wife hasn't been able to find the batteries for sale separately; even called Hestra directly with no luck.
