A premium base layer to kick the chill while you chill and kick it in the snow.

Helly Hansen's Warm Boxer puts your other under-layers to shame. The Warm's two-layer construction, with polypropylene against your skin wicking moisture away and a layer of merino wool on the outside bringing the warmth, earns this boxer its name during even the chilliest mountain adventures. The naturally odor-resistant quality of merino makes this a great choice for an underlayer when you're going hard on the slopes before hitting the lodge.

Often overlooked

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

All too often people spend a ton of money on waterproof and breathable outdoor clothing and then just wear cotton underwear. It makes so much sense to wear a wicking layer right against your skin. It keep my?err?goods?nice and dry and WARM and comfy even on soggy day or days I sweat a ton.

Very effective!

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit:True to size

I spend a lot of winter days in very cold places, cross-country ski racing in rather minimal apparel. These boxers are a must for me in those conditions, even in temperatures dropping below 0 degrees F. They do have a snugger fit than the regular HH Dry Stripe Boxers but I've found that keeps them held close to my body and retaining the heat much better.

I have a 31" waist and wear a large which fits great. My recommendation is to have a pair of these and a pair with the windblock material available in your drawer - you won't be disappointed!

Weird fit

The boxers are too wide around the waste and too tight in the legs.

Great comfy boxer - beware of sizing

Boxers are awesome and very comfy, as long as you figure out what your sizing is.
I wear waist 32 jeans, and size M for Hanes boxers.
also I'm Size M for everything...T-shirts, shirt, Hanes boxers. But these in Size M did *not* fit at all, even size L was a little snug, so I ended up going with size XL, which fits just fine, like a glove and is not loose at all. But once again, Back country customer service is exceptional. Returns are super easy and credit back to my card is quick. VERY nice, I'll definitely be shopping more from this site again.
