I purchased these pants for a 4 day mountain climb. The weather was nice and was able to wear these without a base layer for 4 days straight. The leg vents provided the perfect amount of ventillation for when the sun was hot on the glacier. They did stretch out a bit but luckily they had an adjustable waist band so I could remedy the loose fit. The guide was also in a pair of Helly's so I think that speaks well for the brand. I look forward to skiing in them next year.
It says there are outer zippers but on the photos I only see
It says there are outer zippers but on the photos I only see zippers at the knee. Are there outer zippers? Would these be a good choice for backcountry in cold and humid Quebec?
