When mountain guides gave suggestions to Helly Hansen about how the company could improve its backcountry pants, it listened. Then Helly Hansen constructed this backcountry touring pant of excellence: the Women's Verglas Randonee Pant. The ballistic nylon bottom leg reinforcements don't mind nicks from
crampons and ski edges, and the 3/4-lenth side zips add ventilation
options when you're huffing it up the skin track. The waterproof breathable 2-ply Helly Tech Performance with DWR treatment handles slush and fluff from the outside and your excess heat from the inside. To aid movement, the Verglas has articulated knees and seat, and it is harness- and pack-compatible.
