Helly Hansen Trail Lizard Shoe - Men's - 2009 BCS

I was looking for a lightweight shoe with excellent traction and the ability to drain a lot of water. I've used these guys for day hikes, trail running, peak bagging, and even a trip through the Boundary Waters. These shoes excel at nearly everything I've tossed at 'em. I put Superfeet Green into them and they're a shoe I can wear all day and not get sweaty. After logging nearly 200 miles of trails in under a month, I can safely say that they hold up well and won't disappoint. If you like light & fast shoes, do yourself a favor and pick up a pair.

Pretty good shoe, tough, takes the abuse of hiking, biking, and everyday use. Laces break easily however.

These were so comfortable the first time i put them on that they hardly needed any breaking in. My first run with them was on the South Shore of Tahoe running through the woods and trails up in there. These are a sturdy shoe that's light enough for running and easy traveling with but the sole is sturdy enough for some light hiking. They get wet easily, but also dry very fast because of the Lefa (mesh like) material. So far it seems good for hard and soft surface running. Great shoe!
