A good all-around short

These shorts definitely aren't a runner's "split" length short, which means you won't look too gooby when you walk down the street in them. At the same time, they are a great length for both working out in the gym and running on trails - they won't bunch up at the bottom and run up your legs, nor will they turn into a bikini brief-wedgie by five minutes in.

For me, they're a bit long for running racing, but for general purpose work, they're the ticket.
