fast drying, mid to low knee lenth, thin and super comfy wearing between the legs on long hikes -no chaffing.
lots of storage pockets (that could actually stand to be a bit higher due to certain heavy items bouncing agains the knee. i'm a 33" waist and can wear the 34" short without a belt, or a with a belt for extra cinch.
good short to toss over cycling liners for busting around town or the trails on the MTB.

actually zipper pockets as well as a velcro pocket behind the zipper pocket. these shorts kick butt.

Bought these for my guy to work trail crew up on the mountain - bugs, heat, hiking, rough work - he loves them. They're perfect- we immediately bought another pair.

These shorts are actually a lot longer than I thought. I am a tall guy (6'3") and the length of these shorts came down to mid calf--which I think is too long. They are more like capris than shorts. Anyways, I think they look a bit odd.

that's really odd. i am 6'1" and i wear 32 in these (33 in everything else) and they come right to mid knee. do you wear them super low?
