Head uses microchip technology to drastically increase the Intelligence I. CT Snowboard's responsiveness on the most technically demanding freeriding. An integrated Intelligence Chip reads terrain conditions and speed to instantly make the board stiffer or softer to match your riding demands. As speed and vibration increases, the Intelligence I. CT Snowboard responds by stiffening its flex to reduce chatter and provide better edge control. A sintered IS Nano base provides ridiculous speed, control, and durability, and a 3cm stance setback gives you excellent float in the powder.
Bottom Line: The Head Intelligence I. CT Snowboard—better riding through technology.

SO, I bought this board not truly undertsanding what the intelligence chip is, and to be honest, I still don't really get it and would love a more detailed example of HOW it works... After having ridden an Apocalypse, and Burton, I'm very surprised by how great this board is, it's just how one should naturally feel... it adjusts so you don't have to, pretty nice... SO I'm told that electricity in it grounds in the snow? But I can only recommend this board.

It performs as advertised. Corners like its on rails - never chatters. Very quick side to side and flies down the hill. Light and has been very durable so far (4 hard days). It is a little spendy, but you can really tell when the system is working. Fair warning - it can stiffen up under certain conditions and can bury the nose unexpectedly. Otherwise, it's wonderful.
