Turbine 125 Ski

If you're going to be sending big cliffs and skiing chest-deep snow at face-melting speeds, you'd  better have a tool that's as burly as you are. Enter the Head Turbine 125 Ski. It might look like the offspring of a big-mountain ski and a rubber spatula, but it skis like a purebred charger, thanks in part to the space-age tech in the tip and tail. To reduce the vibration that can be an issue with rockered skis, Head supplied the Turbine with TTS, a tip and tail stabilizing system consisting of elastomeric stabilizing inlays and a glass fiber exoskeleton that combine to dampen vibration, lighten swing weight, and increase torsional stiffness, creating a ski that's as stable and powerful as a Clydesdale while being quick as a snowshoe hare.

Even though it's designed for big drops and deep days, the Turbine can hold its own in variable conditions, thanks to its torsional stiffness and a TNT rocker profile that features 60% camber underfoot to bite into hardpack and 20% tip and tail rocker to float over chop and crud. It won't get squirrely, either, thanks to an Independent Suspension System that employs more vibration-dampening inlays underfoot, as well as in the tip and tail, to reduce chatter and provide a smooth ride. And when you hit the inevitable rock, never fear, because the Turbine features super-durable sandwich cap construction which combines the toughness and strength of sandwich construction with the lightweight simplicity of a cap overlay. It also sports burly ABS Tuffwall sidewalls that are designed to take a beating without dulling or blowing out. Throw in tough and fast UHM C bases with diecut graphics, and you've got a ski that just might be tougher than you are.
