I just bought these and my foot doesn't really fit. I'm definitely a 25.5 and if anything have a narrower last (97) than these boots are designed for.

Still, I feel totally cramped. It seems as though I can't get my heel all the way back in the liner, and the same thing may be happening in the boot.

Is anyone else having these problems? Does anyone else have a solution besides scrapping it and buying new boots?

Assuming you got a good deal on this boot, your best option is to go find a boot fitter who may be abler to make the boot work for 50-75 bucks in labor.sounds like some grinding and adjustment MIGHT do the trick. However, it is nice to start with a boot that feels okay and then tweak from there. So, of there is an easy return option, you might consider that. Good luck.

Have been skiing the Head World Cup Comp for 6 years - great

Have been skiing the Head World Cup Comp for 6 years - great boot and the only one that has fit my feet. I have a B width ball of foot, and a very skinny ankle - thats where the comp fit so well. Do the S13 boots fit a skinny foot like the old comp?

No the S13 is pretty voluminous. I would go for the Raptor RS last from head. Its a narrow boot with much lower volume. The Mojo XP uses the RS last, so does and of the Raptor RS boots such as Raptor 120 or Raptor 100. I think backcountry.com outlet has some Mojo XP or Raptor RS. Those would be a great newer version of your Comp boots.
