The Head Monster i.M 75 Chip Super RailFlex alpine ski has a tech-sounding name. What it does is simply keep you skiing with satisfaction and ease from 9:00am pow to afternoon hardpack. How it works is a little more complicated. Head ingrains Intellifibers into the core of the ski, which generate and transmit energy as you ski. This energy transmission acts as a dampening device, stabilizing the 75 when you're carving super fast on bulletproof—giving you a chatter-free, grippy ride. The RailFlex* binding mounting system keeps the 75 flexible in soft snow but absolutely stable on ice. The RailFlex* system allows the ski to bend naturally, eliminating dead spots, enlarging the sweet spot. How sweet it is. The 75's mid-fat footprint offers the floatation needed in powder while the side cut makes precision carving on groomed slopes possible. *Bindings Sold Separately: LD 12 RailFlex or SLD 11 RailFlex.

Bottom Line: Let you're ski do the thinking—all you need to do is enjoy the ride.

Great All-moutain sticks!

Had these out in the Canadian Rockies, on a day where we skied all conditions after getting 55cm of new snow a couple days prior and then rain the night before, and definitely all-mountain.

At the top of the mountain the conditions were cold and crusty, ski carved very nicely, holding edges and turns, no chattering at high speeds.

Mid-mountain we had softer (still a bit heavy), boot covering, warm-powder, it performed extremely well handling the steep jump-turns in the chutes.

At the base, we had sloppier, slushier snow, and these babies didn't let me down. Still had incredible control and agility.

I am a big-guy (215 lbs and 6'1") and these skis responded and worked the snow very well. They made me look good.

Great ski for all moutain, carving the corduroy, jump-turning in the steep & deep, and in the bumps.

The TRUE All Mountain ski has arrived

For years I've heard the term "all mountain" ski and finally someone hit the nail on the head - no pun intended. This ski absolutely rocks in all conditions. With the Intelligence Chip it is very stable at all speeds and all turn radii. With a 75 mm waist and generous shape it's quick enough for most short turn guru's and wide enough for everything but the deepest day of the year. I skied it at Deer Valley, groomer capital of the west and the next day it also performed exceptional at Alta, powder capital of the west.

Head skis are the real deal and this one leads the pack. In my opinion this is the TRUE All Mountain ski by which to define All Mountain.
