Boasting a retro graphic and modern big-mountain construction, the Head Jimi 110 Ski offers a luxurious ride that's worthy of your winter's most serious undertakings. This solid plank manages to float like a butterfly in the fluff and stomp tough landings with authority.

  • With a solid 110mm underfoot, the Jimi's big-mountain dimensions beg for steeps and deeps
  • Reverse camber and extra long front rocker translate to maximum float in the soft stuff
  • Shorter tail rocker lends stability to your landings
  • Sandwich construction and highly durable ABS sidewalls create a stable, durable ride
  • Twintip construction dares you to land switch

Bottom Line: Neither unmanageably stiff or wimpy-soft, the Jimi 110 Ski is ready for any experience.

Head Jimi and Jerry Rocker story

By: Backcountry.com Vendor Rep
October 14, 2010

Here is a profile of the Jimi and Jerry skis from Head. The Jimi and Jerry are identical except for the sidecut radius and therefore the waist width. The Jerry has bit more side cut so a narrower waist. I hope this helps people know more about these fantastic skis.

did the JIMI 110 change from 2010 to 2011? Obviously the graphic changed, did head add a tail rocker? Or is it the same ski with simply a new graphic?

Hey BC.com: with so many skis featuring rockered tips and tails

Hey BC.com: with so many skis featuring rockered tips and tails these days, and with no two rocker shapes being the same, some sort of graphic to illustrate rocker would be very helpful. Skis like the Jimi should be photohgraphed as a pair, from the side, with bases together, to show where the contact points at the tips and tails are, as well as how much camber there is underfoot.

Just a thought!

Great idea, I've been thinking this for a couple of years. Numerical descriptions of rocker/tip profile just don't cut it.
