The circle of life's a lot like skiing big-mountain laps: you start slowly, but quickly pick up speed, and before you know it you have to slam on the brakes before you accidentally send that 100-footer right in front of you and land on your head. OK, maybe the analogy doesn't work, but the Head Cyclic 115 Ski will still take you from the top to the big cliff to the bottom to the top to the big cliff to the bottom whether you're spinning lift laps or enjoying your first big-mountain heli trip. The second-fattest board in Head's big mountain line, it features the same weight-saving but powerful hybrid sandwich-cap construction and ABS Tuffwall sidewalls, so you can punch the throttle down big lines without losing the quickness required to handle tight trees and techy terrain. Head's TNT Rocker provides a good section of camber underfoot for bomber edge hold when you need it, and there's also plenty of rocker in the tip and tail to make short work of powder and keep the Cyclic nimble and pivoty when you need it to be.

Of course, the most obvious design feature is the Tip and Tail Stabilizer System, a vibration-killing overlay in the tips and tails that gives you a smooth, consistent ride even when you're mobbing down choppy terrain. They give the Cyclic a space-age look, for sure, but you'll be sold when you feel the dampness and predictability they provide. If you still want more, Head also included dampening Independent Suspension System inlays in the tip, tail, and underfoot sections of the ski, so you'll be able to make short work of the harshest terrain you can find.
