I have just bought a sit on kayak for just paddling around Sydney harbour, is this paddle ok, have been quoted $140 for a one piece paddle, what is the advantage of a one piece over a two piece paddle or vice versa

The length and straightness of this paddle is more directed towards touring type applications. You'll probably find it quite unwieldy for creek stuff, more so for playboating.
