I work for the airlines, and these whistles where issued to us in a new safety directive to be carried at all times. "Its a whistle" big deal, Right! Its a whistle that can be heard over a running jet engine!!! I copped a few extras and now use it as my primary safety whistle. Its light and loud!!!

As a part time guide & trip leader, I require a signaling device to be carried by all my participants as part of their emergency/survival kit. The Harmony Fox 40 Safety Whistle is not only the loudest whistle available, but it plus a mirror works great in almost all emergency situations. Lightweight & inexpensive security. I've even used it as a soccer referee whistle. This whistle is LOUD!!!
