Handcrafted in Europe, Hanwag premium trekking boots are made with high-quality materials for long-lasting use. The Hanwag Men's Alaska GTX Backpacking Boot features a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane to shed water from passing showers and stream crossings. A waxed nubuck upper and a full rubber rand provide durability against rocks, stumps, and heavy brush. In addition, the rugged Vibram Fourà sole offers reliable grip when you're walking long distances over craggy trails.
This backpacking boot is compatible with strap-on crampons, facilitating general mountaineering and easy travel over snow and glaciers (not suitable for steep ice and harder climbs). Heel shock absorption soaks up vibration for enhanced comfort. An internal harness lock down your heel for full ankle support and blister prevention, and Air Pulse circulation vents this boot through a pumping action at the tongue.

Hunting boots
The most comfortable and robust shoes that I ever have.

Most durable and best fitting boot I've found
I have tried many different brands and types of boots but these are the ones I always come back to. They have put up with years of abuse and are still going strong. They are heavy but that's what you pay for durability. If you looking to get the most for your money buy these boots.
