Description

Get a comfy bed that only weighs 16 ounces in the Hammock Bliss Single Hammock.

Relax in the backcountry, or on your porch at home in the Hammock Bliss Single Hammock. This 16-ounce camping hammock easily strings between two trees from eight feet of sewn-on climbing rope. The Hammock Bliss Single Hammock conforms to your body, so there aren't any pressure points from knots or ropes while you're trying to catch a nap or read a book. Hammock Bliss gave this hammock a sewn-on stuff sack you won't be able to lose no matter how many mojitos you knock back during the afternoon. If you spill a little of your drink, just throw the Single Hammock in the washing machine before your next camping trip.

What is the strength rating on these nylon parachute hammocks (in lbs or kg)? My brother (a navy seal) said he had one split right under him. Not sure if it was Hammock Bliss or not but it was definitely nylon parachute silk.

Also, what is the stuff size? I assume it's larger than their other models (8 x 10) because it includes the bug netting and 100" of accessory cord. Thanks

Do you need extra equipment like biners or anything to set this up or are the attached straps have everything you need?

No, the included ropes will do it, but the trees, and people who like bark, always appreciate if you also pick up a pair of tree straps (item#HMK0017).

This hammock is great. i take it backpacking, use it in college to relax, and use it at work when i have a break. Packs down extremely small, made of parachute materials. Drys super quick. It says it can support 300 or 400 lbs (dont have it with me as im writing) so itll take most anything throw at it, or should i say lay on it.

bottom line: great great hammock that i get lots of complements on.

I have a buddy who is 6'1" 220 lbs and he has no problem fitting into the hammock, nor does the hammock show any signs of giving in. I think he has more than 4 inches to spare so you should be ok.
